Major Crash Assistance Team
The Major Crash Assistance Team investigates serious crashes using advanced tools to document scenes and support law enforcement and legal cases.
The Specialized Enforcement Division oversees several specialized teams, including the SWAT (Special Weapons and Tactics) team, the CNT (Crisis Negotiation Team), the PEER Support team, the CCT (Crowd Control team), the K9 unit, the DIVE team, the Honor Guard, the Incident Management team, the MCAT (Major Crash Assistance Team), the UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) unit, and the Motor Unit.
This division is also responsible for overseeing the training and development of personnel agency-wide, ensuring that all deputies and officers are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively carry out their duties. Additionally, the Specialized Enforcement Division provides oversight and coordination for the department's Emergency Management operations, ensuring that the agency is prepared to respond to a wide range of emergencies and critical incidents.
