"SPLASH" Outing & Party Information
Admissions: SCJ Aquatic Center “SPLASH” Crew will set up your area based on the number of guests, provide you with wristbands for your guests, show you to your area, deliver your food at the time you have specified. Admission is based on agreement: admission is required for all guests on deck
- Additional guests may be added for $12 each, with the maximum specified per area - non-swimmers are included in the count.
- A guest count is due 2 days prior to your visit, any additional guest above the maximum allowed, will be charged the daily pass rate upon arrival.
Attire: Wearing appropriate clothing and swimwear. ONLY swimwear is allowed in the pool, no basketball shorts, cotton shirts, sports bras or other revealing items. Please wear your swimsuit in the pool area and locker rooms
BIG RED Shade area: Your shade area is available for your 2 hour reserved party time & includes picnic tables. Upon conclusion of the party, guests are welcome to stay and enjoy the Aquatic Center, but must clear the shade area promptly.
Check-in: check in at the Guest Services desk at least 15 minutes prior to their rental time to confirm # of guests & food package.
Cancellation-Closure: In case of inclement weather, we will follow our closure policy. If a closure occurs prior to the schedule time, the Supervisor will reach out to you. To contact the SCJ Aquatic Center the day of your event, please call 262-619-5630. If we close due to weather within an hour of your arrival, we will be happy to reschedule your event within the same season. The waterpark will remain open if it lightly raining or cool. No refunds will be issued if the party experiences inclement weather after the first hour of the visit.
- A full refund will be issued for cancellations at least 10 days prior to the rental date.
- A 50% refund will be issued for cancellations within 3-9 days prior to the rental date.
- Cancellations less than 3 days before the event will result in a forfeiture of the rental fee.
Decorations: table cloths may be placed on picnic tables & secured with a clip. Latex balloons, glitter, sprinkles are prohibited. Tape, tacks, fishing line or other hanging devices are not to be used on or under the shade or on the poles. Weights for helium balloons may be used on ground or table surface. SC Johnson Community Aquatic Center property and equipment must be restored to its original condition and all decorations must be removed by the renter following the event.
Food Menu - Refreshments Options:
- Food package includes a small drink, popcorn & your choice of a hot dog or a slice of pizza. Meals will be served at 1:30p or 4:30pm based on your reservation time. Additional food may be purchased at our “SPLASH LANDING” concessions. We do not allow any food/beverage carry-ins with the exception of cupcakes, cake, water bottles & treat bags.
Lifeguards: Our certified Lifeguards are there for your safety, to enforce rules and respond to aquatic emergencies. Please follow their instructions along with the pool rules posted within the facility at all times. Lifeguards have the authority to suspend the party activities for violation of the regulations or for any other reason which, in the lifeguard’s judgment, constitutes a hazard to persons or property.
Payment: fees are to be paid in full upon reservation. Payment for additional guests or food will be due the day of your party. MasterCard, VISA, Discover and cash are accepted.
Ratios: Minimum adult/child ratios have been established for visiting youth groups as indicated below:
- One adult (18 years or older) per 12 children must be provided for children, 6-11yrs
- For groups with children 3yrs & under: 1:3; 4-5yrs: 1:6 must be provided
- Lower ratios are recommended if the group includes weak swimmers.
Renter: Renter must be 21 years of age or older and in attendance during the entire event. The renter will assume full responsibility for the rental and liability and is solely responsible for the actions of any General Rules and Birthday Party Guidelines
Resident Rate: The term “resident” refers to Racine County residents. Proof of residency is required with the application including a valid Driver’s License or Photo ID and current utility bill with address.
Safety Breaks: Daily @ 2:30pm, the pools will be cleared for a 15 minute lifeguard break & safety-rest period. We encourage parents to check in with their kids, hydrate, reapply sunscreen, take a break from the sun and rest, have a snack, and use the restroom. On excessive heat days, a 4:30p break will be added.
