Alcohol, Smoking, Vaping Policy | The SC Johnson Community Aquatic Center facilities and grounds are alcohol and smoke-free environments. No smoking or consumption of alcohol is allowed, this includes e-cigarettes, vaping and using or possessing illegal drugs in or on the facility grounds, including outside entrances and parking lots, during or after hours.
Animals-Pets-Service Animal Policy | Guests with disabilities are permitted to bring their service animals into the waterpark, however, service animals are not permitted in the water or on any feature. Animals whose sole function is to provide comfort or emotional support do not qualify as service animals and will not be permitted into the waterpark. The care or supervision on a service animal is solely the responsibility of his/her owner. Service animals must be leashed and may never be left unsupervised. SCJAC team members may not supervise, watch or monitor a service animal at anytime.
Accessibility | Turtle Bay has a zero depth entry and the Blue Lagoon has a ramp entry. A water wheelchair is available to assist you into the pools using the zero depth entry & ramp entry. If needed, have a caregiver available to assist you with the equipment transfers.
Carry-In Food & Drink Policy | For everyone’s safety, we do not allow food, coolers, or beverages (including alcohol) into the aquatic center, with the exception of water, baby food and formula. Upon entry all bags are subject to inspection, just let our team member know if you plan to bring baby food or formula into the facility. If you wish to bring your own food, we welcome you to use our picnic areas in Pritchard Park which includes picnic tables outside of the SC Johnson Community Aquatic Center. We do allow re-entry into our facility.
Locker Rooms – Lost & Found |
- Children 4 years of age or older must change in the appropriate locker room, there is a family restroom/changing area in the lobby.
- Access to locker rooms is permitted based on the gender identity of the patron.
- Food is not permitted in the locker rooms
- Cell Phones | the use of cell phones, cameras, video cameras or any device containing recording equipment of any kind is prohibited in all locker rooms, bathrooms and changing facilities.
- Patrons are not permitted to leave locks on lockers overnight. Locks will be cut off and locker contents will be placed into lost & found. Lost & Found will be disposed of every 3 days.
- Use of locker room facilities is limited to patrons for the purpose of showering and changing. Personal grooming is not permitted, including cutting nails, coloring/cutting/shaving hair, exfoliating and brushing teeth.
- All locker rooms will close 10 minutes after the waterpark pools close.
Outside Chairs, Shade Tents, Strollers, Umbrellas | Lounge chairs are available as first come, first serve, can't be reserved ahead of arrival and are to stay in place on the deck.
Shade Tents/Umbrellas | Small shade umbrellas and tents are permitted within the grassy areas only. Umbrella use is limited to those attached to a stroller. Spiking beach type umbrellas into the lawn is not permitted. Supervisors will instruct you to move any and all items that present a potential safety issue.
Strollers | are allowed on deck and must be secured six or more feet from the water's edge. Do not leave children in stroller unattended.
Re-entry & Refund | Guests may leave and re-enter the park as needed throughout the day. Re-entry will be granted with a hand stamp obtained at Guest Services on the way out. Guests must show a hand stamp and day-of receipt to return.
Refunds will not be issued for daily admissions, due to inclement weather. If the pool closes they may return the same day only if the aquatic center re-opens. To re-enter daily admission guests will need to show their day-of daily admissions receipt and hand stamp and/or wristband.
PLEASE NOTE: The SC Johnson Community Aquatic Center reserves the right to close the aquatic center or features due to low attendance, staffing, safety of patrons and/or poor weather conditions. See Closing Policy for details.
Safety Breaks & Rest Period | daily @ 2:30pm, the pools will be cleared for a 15 minute lifeguard break & safety-rest period. We encourage parents to check in with their kids, hydrate, reapply sunscreen, take a break from the sun and rest, have a snack, and use the restroom. When temperatures are above 80*, at 4:30pm break will be added.
