  • Monday thru Thursday (7 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and (12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.)
  • Friday (7:00 a.m. - 11 a.m.)
• Please note: plans, permit applications, and other documentation may be dropped off on Fridays prior to office closure at 4:30 p.m. in the Ives Grove Office Complex lobby drop box.

• Investigations & inspections of the following:
  • Groundwater monitoring wells
  • Soil borings
  • Sanitary system plans
  • Sanitary permits
  • Private sewage systems prior to backfill
  • Complaints / legal action regarding compliance to Chapter 19, Racine County Code of Ordinances
• Participates in the Wisconsin Fund Grant Program
  • Optional program that provides grant money to eligible homeowners who apply for grants to correct failing private sewage systems
  • A 3-year septic tank maintenance check is enforced for all systems install under County jurisdiction
