BadgerCare Plus offers comprehensive health coverage for low-income individuals and families who may not have access to affordable insurance. The program covers doctor visits, hospital care, mental health and substance use treatment, prescription medications, and preventive services, along with dental and vision care. It aims to support overall health and well-being by providing access to quality medical care at little or no cost.
Individuals who may qualify include children, pregnant women, parents, caregivers, and adults who meet income guidelines. Additionally, young adults transitioning out of foster care (up to age 26) may be eligible, ensuring continuity of care during a critical life stage.

Medicaid provides health insurance coverage for individuals with disabilities, seniors, and those who require long-term care. The program supports people who may have limited income or significant medical needs by covering services such as doctor visits, hospital stays, prescription medications, therapy, and nursing home or in-home care.
Eligible individuals include adults 65 and older, individuals who are blind or disabled, and people who require long-term care services. Additionally, Medicaid may help cover Medicare Part B premiums for those who qualify, reducing out-of-pocket healthcare expenses.
