The Summer Youth Employment Program offers paid jobs for Racine County youth (15–18) from June to August. Participants gain work experience, life skills, and career readiness while working with government, businesses, and community groups. The program builds confidence, financial literacy, and personal growth.
Sponsoring the Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) o ers a chance to impact the next generation by providing valuable work experience. Youth gain essential skills, confidence and leadership, preparing them for future careers. Sponsorship also strengthens community ties, supports the local economy and showcases a commitment to social responsibility. It’s a meaningful way to give back and shape future leaders.

Low-income & minority youth balancing school and a job are less likely to drop out of high school than those who do not work.
Better Wage
For every year a person works in their teens, their income raises up to 16% in their 20’s.
