Racine County, WI

Youth need to fill out the online form by the due date and can find the application here. Applications are reviewed and selected youth will be scheduled for an interview with the selection committee.

The program is 8 weeks long starting in June and ending early August.

Youth will be placed at local businesses, government agencies, or organizations located in Racine County.

All youth participants accepted into the program are placed at job sites based upon multiple factors:

• Youth’s home location
• Compatibility with other youth in program
• Preference to type of work and specific job sites
• Youth Assessment results

Youth will work a maximum of 16 to 20 hours a week. Youth are required to attend Skill Development Workshops every other Friday and will only be allowed to work 16 hours the weeks they are scheduled to attend.

Youth must be between the ages of 15 and 18 and reside in Racine County. All youth must be able to work the entire 8 week program duration.

Youth are required to fill out an online application and provide a photo ID (Current School Id, State ID, or Drivers License) and Social Security Card.

Attire will be determined based on your worksite. During Skill Development Workshops attire is casual.

Transportation will be provided for youth participants who do not have access to transportation to and from your job site.
