Need Help with Healthcare Costs?

  • Extra Help for Part D, Medicare Part D Low Income Subsidy (LIS): See website for information. To apply see website. Those with incomes under 150% of federal poverty level can apply for the LIS through the Social Security Administration. Available assets must be less than certain amounts. Assets do not include the home, car, personal possessions and certain cash values to life insurance policies. Apply on-line or by calling your local SSA office.
